keshia + quann :: i do | TLC four weddings | atlanta wedding photographer

Back in April I had to sign a few secrecy documents about this wedding. Why you ask? Because the wedding was filmed for the TLC show, Four Weddings. Now that it is scheduled to air tomorrow night, I can finally let the cat out of the bag. Yes, I had the honor of second shooting the wedding with Derrel Todd of FootPrintFotos. Let me start from the beginning. Back in February while in Vegas for a photography convention I made a complete fool of myself. You see I was walking down the Vegas strip heading back to the hotel when I spotted these two guys off to the side having a photo session. I ran up to them shouting, “Oh my gosh, you’re David Chapelle!! I love you! I love your work!” He turns to me and said, “Um, I’m not David Chapelle.” My response, “Yes, you are!!” Long story short, he wasn’t David Chapelle. Rather two photographers out having a fun session while in Vegas. Go figure. They didn’t completely run away from me, instead we laughed, exchanged information and viola, a few weeks later I get a call asking if I wanted to assist. Yes!!

Keshia and Quann’s wedding was held on a beautiful April day, as I recall the weather was still on the cool side, but we had a lucky break that day. Held at the gorgeous Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet it was perfect.

Check out the wedding this Friday night, 08/12, on TLC at 10/9 central. Who knows maybe I made the cut.

Special thanks again, to Derrel Todd for giving me the opportunity and for not running away as far as possible from a crazy Asian girl who loves David Chappelle.

The camera crew and other brides.

I love the photobooth idea!
