Before Christmas I had the honor of photographing an event for Flashes of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. It was a beautiful and heart felt holiday party for the children and their families. Although a very happy and joyous occasion, I did from time to time find myself getting teary-eyed. The fact that smiles are still on their little faces knowing what they must be going through was indeed touching. Here are a few of the beautiful faces and smiles that captured that day.
