The "S" Family…

5 month old Addison and Big Sister Jordan…future LSU Tigers cheerleaders. Being a FSU Seminole and loyal fan to the ACC, I felt some slight betrayal taking pictures for a die hard SEC family. But hey, who could pass up those beautiful girls and their gorgeous eyes!

Drum roll, please….

and the winner of the “session give-away” goes to….Elizabeth. “I always wanted someone to photograph my children/family in sort of a traveling shoot at old nearby barns in Alpharetta/Canton/Cumming,” suggested Elizabeth. I love that idea!

Thanks to all the other entries. There were some great suggestions; Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Big Canoe, Chestatee, Bulloch Hall, and Piedmont Park.

Lights, Camera, Action…

Meet Davis and Emily. Davis was my little director, he knew exactly what he wanted and directed the whole photo session…it was cute. And honestly, he did a magnificant job. I think I need to take him around to all my sessions. He had a knack for knowing where to have the shot and when to give a smile or as he said it, “my serious face.”

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there…

Our day started off with Breakfast. This is usually Vance’s territory, so it was a nice break for him when I whipped up breakfast this morning…scrambed eggs and ham…yummy!

After breakfast we surprised him with his gifts. As many family and friends know, Vance secretly wishes for a farm loaded with fruit trees and berry bushes…and of course you can’t have a farm without a few goats roaming around either. But don’t think I’ll be giving him goats anytime soon. But we did totally surprise him with a couple of blueberry bushes today.

After all this we headed up to Wolf Mountain Vineyard for an awesome brunch. It was absolutely beautiful up there. Per usual, I ate too much…but it was just so good and completely worth the stomach ache I had the rest of the day. I think this might end up being an annual thing. But then again, why wait a whole year, it might just be a monthly kinda thing.

After we all stuffed ourselves, we headed back home, only to come across a “pick your own” strawberry farm. We decided to stop by for a little “pickin.” It was blazing hot out, but we had such a wonderful time.

Showing off the card he made…

The view from our table…
