I love this time of the year and I love Halloween! The crisp cool air, the beautiful colors and of course, all the adorable costumes.
I know it is very short notice, but let’s have a Halloween Contest, shall we?
Here goes:
I will host a picture day on Sunday, October 5th and Saturday, October 11th at Scottsdale Farm & Nursery pumkin patch (off Birmingham Hwy http://www.scottsdalefarms.com/). Bring your kiddies or maybe even yourselves dressed up in costumes. You will receive a 20 minute session, a CD with a minimum of 15 edited images, and my “pumpkin vine” halloween card design, all for $50.
We will then have a contest where votes will be made and the winner will receive a hour portrait session and gift CD ($125 value)! You will have a year to use this session.
This should be a lot of fun! Call or email me and book your session!

We went to the Falls on Labor Day weekend for a picnic – absolutely beautiful. These pictures though are not from that trip since I absent mindedly took my camera, but forgot to charge up the batteries. Well, the park is so beautiful and just a short drive from home, we decided to go again last weekend when Vance’s buddy was in town visiting. As with the first visit, we found a great shady spot next to the river, laid out our blanket and enjoyed a great picnic. After we stuffed ourselves we dipped our feet in the river and Ethan had a great time tossing river rocks, though his rocks got progressively bigger and the splashes we’re ever bigger. After a while we packed up and hiked up to the Falls.
