vacation, all I ever wanted. vacation, had to get away…
Just a note to say I’m outta here for the week!! I am looking forward to the sand, surf, pina coladas and some good ole’ family time with all my boys!
Lazy days on the beach, afternoons fishing off the back dock and a venture over to Charleston to get my fill of some yummy low country shrimp and grits – my new favorite dish. Seriously, who could ask for more?

You might remember this couple from a few months back when I photographed their engagment. This past weekend I had the pleasure of capturing their wedding day at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta. Followed by their reception at the Golf Club of Georgia. What an amazing couple! They dated back in college 15 years ago and life has now brought them back together.
The bottle of champagne that Jeff gave to Rebecca while dating in college. She saved it for a “special occasion” – I think this qualifies!

Meet Ellie, such a sweet baby. I first photographed her at a few weeks old, now 8 months old. We had to work very hard for her to smile, and even still there weren’t many. But that’s ok, she was still the perfect little baby. She didn’t have her nap, but one couldn’t tell. She carried on without one bit of crying. And yes, I love all that baby “chunkiness!” – we just had to get a naked baby shot in.

I met big sister Olivia a year and a half ago and now had the pleasure of also meeting 15 month old little sister, Sophia. Both girls are so adorable. We were trying to beat the rain, and were successful at doing so. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon walking through Piedmont Park – I really do love that park. Despite the heat and the late afternoon session, the girls really did a fantastic job.
